Deodorant Recipes to make at home

Have you been looking for homemade deodorant recipes so that you can make your own deodorant? Here are some basic recipes to get you started.

Easiest Natural Deodorant

1. Basic Powder Deodorant

  • 1/4 C baking soda
  • 1/4 C cornstarch
  • 20 drops essential oil or blend of your choice

Fluff under your arms with a kabuki brush, or apply by patting on with a damp washcloth.

2. Tea Tree Oil - Just wipe it on. Smells kind of strong, so best used when needed for rashes.

Natural Spray Deodorant

Basic Spray Deodorant

  • 1/4 C Vodka or Witch Hazel
  • 1/4 C distilled water
  • 1/8 C Aloe Vera Gel
  • 1 t Glycerin
  • 20 drops essential oil or blend

Mix to blend in a spray bottle. Shake before use.

Some suggestions for blends:

Frankincense and Peppermint - Refreshing

Lemon, Grapefruit and Sage - Fruity and herbal

Bay and Lime Peel- Manly, but I like it, too.

Sweet Orange, Vetiver and Myrrh - Sexy, sweet and smoky

Lavender, Grapefruit and Cypress - A little woodsy, a little floral, a little citrus

Tea Tree and Peppermint - Fresh and minty, the peppermint tones down the tea tree

The possibilities are endless!
