Sugar Scrubs and Cookie Facials

Here are some fun sugar scrubs and cookie facials that we've made up in our kitchen and are happy to share. I hope they inspire you to be creative with your skin care - your skin will thank you!


Chocolate Mocha Mint Cellulite Buster

Great for thighs, butt and upper arm, but yummy for anywhere!

  • 1/2 C Coffee Grounds
  • 1/2 C Sugar
  • 1 T Cocoa Powder
  • 6 drops Peppermint oil
  • 1/4 C olive oil

Mix dry ingredients first, then the olive oil andpeppermint oil.

*Coffee grounds won't dissolve in the shower or bath, so you will have to rinse them down the drain!

Snickerdoodle Face & Body

Smells like sugar cookies with cinnamon, leaves skin smooth and lightly scented

  • 1/2 C white sugar
  • 1 T ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 C jojoba oil
  • 1 t vanilla extract

Mix sugar and cinnamon well. Add jojoba oil and vanilla extract and blend evenly.


Spicy body scrub - use for all over exfoliating and enjoy the smell!

  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 1 t ground cloves
  • 1 t ground ginger
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • 1 T Molasses
  • 1/4 C cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil

Mix dry ingredients together well. Add jojoba oil and mix evenly.

Lemondrop Facial Scrub


  • 1/4 C white sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 5 drops lemon oil or 1 t fresh squeezed lemon
  • 2 T jojoba oil

Peanut Butter Fudgie Facial

Soothing and moisturizing for dry skin

  • 1/4 C quick-cook oats
  • 1 t cocoa powder
  • 1 T creamy peanut butter
  • 2 T yogurt (or 1 for only half the recipe)

Grind oats finely in the food processor or blender. Pour into a large bowl. Add cocoa powder and mix well. Add peanut butter and mix well with fingers until it once again looks like a "dry"mixture.

Mix dry ingredients with yogurt and spread mixture on face. Let set 10-20 minutes and rinse!
